Wawel Cathedral

Archaeologists found traces of prehistoric ritual activity dating back over 1,000 years before Christianity reached Poland.

​Wawel Cathedral was a highlight of our winter trip and provided an unforgettable experience for our family of five. The mix of architectural styles is fascinating and the cathedral feels like a true journey through history as you explore the various chapels and royal tombs. Even in the cold of winter, the hilltop views and the majestic presence of the building are absolutely worth the walk.
