Kurlandzki Boulevard is one of those places in Krakow that delights at any time of year. In spring, it smells of freshness and awakening greenery, and in summer it bustles with life—with the sun reflected in the Vistula River and the quiet murmur of strollers. In autumn, it is enveloped in a warm palette of colors, and in winter, it becomes a tranquil, almost poetic scene, where the city lights reflect in the icy surface of the river. Atmospheric, peaceful, and beautiful—the perfect place to slow down and escape into silence.
One of the most popular walking trails in Krakow, along which we can see many significant buildings, there are benches at every turn, there is a meadow, and there is a water tram stop.
For those looking for a pleasant and less crowded spot to sit on the grass, perhaps not with the most scenic views, I recommend the section between the Kotlarski Bridge and the Dąbie Waterfall. It's full of greenery, has places to spread out a blanket, a beach volleyball court, swings, benches, a few tables, and a mini beach (a larger sandbox where children can dig in the sand). Nearby, behind the waterfall, there's a playground, ping-pong tables, and a nice park. It's also a pleasant place for running or walking. A huge plus is that part of the area has been designated as a wildflower meadow.
A great place for a walk, rollerblading, or bike riding. Beautiful views and places to relax, all along the Vistula River.
A beautiful boulevard and right on the Vistula River and it's safe. German pensioners ask if it's safe to walk. Yes, it is. They don't believe it anyway. Bravo Krakow.
