Its a wild forest in the middle of Krakow. I hope they wont do too much work on it as its wild style is a fresh feeling for parks in Krakow. It's also a perfect place for other types of bugs and birds to exist, versus a mowed park.
This is a small park I discovered thanks to my then-girlfriend, who used to bring our mini Schnauzer here for evening walks. The entrance is quiet and almost hidden (even though it isn’t), so the park is mostly visited by those who already know it, making it a wonderfully peaceful spot. Although that chapter of my life is now a history, I still come here from time to time to relive old memories with a coffee and a book. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet escape on their own!
A small park in the heart of the city, a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The only thing that spoils the park is the ruined manor house nearby.
An underrated park in the center of Krakow. Perhaps because it was closed for many years. But thanks to this, it boasts lush vegetation that provides shade on hot days. Comfortable benches and plenty of space. Worth a visit :) I've attached photos from the time when the park was closed to the public...
Unfortunately, the park doesn't feel safe after dark. The two narrow gated exits are a bad idea – it's difficult to leave quickly if a problem arises. There was a recent high-profile incident involving a minor, and many residents commented on the unsafe atmosphere. A plea to the city: remove the gates and open the entire length of the park, improve lighting, and consider CCTV and more frequent patrols. It's a beautiful place, but it needs urgent action.
