It must have been a beautiful park in the past, but the super noisy road nearby destroyed the whole atmosphere! How come they could build such a busy road near a "health park"?? It's the least healthy thing to do :(
A small park. You can hear cars from the street. Well-kept and charming.
It's beautiful, the restaurant has good food, and the staff in the drinking establishment are friendly. However, the management style gives it a somewhat communist-era vibe: lots of prohibitions and regulations—mainly a ban on moving outside designated paths (supposedly dictated by safety concerns, as old trees and branches are falling—I won't go into detail, but there are also parking lots under the trees, as well as the path itself), meaning a single road in the middle where cars drive. However, there's one disclaimer: "You can smoke here." The park's opening hours change (not because of any private events, but simply—sometimes from 10:00 a.m., sometimes from 11:00 a.m., until 8:00 p.m., and sometimes until 6:00 p.m.). Sometimes the gate on one side is open, but without any notice from the other side that the other entrance is closed.
I was hoping for a pleasant walk in the shade of the trees. Unfortunately, you can only walk back and forth along the path, which is also used by cars. There are some sculptures blocked by cars. The entrance is via steps, so strollers are a bit more difficult. There are two attractive buildings, a gazebo, and a lawn. It's worth visiting just for the Pump Room.
A beautiful, peaceful park. Always well-maintained. Not large, but large enough for everyone. I like to spread out a blanket here and read a book.
