Reviews

This is a small green-space square next to the Juliusz Stowacki Theatre and close to the Catholic Parish of the Holy Cross Church. The square has park benches, walk paths, manicured trimmed hedges along with beautiful flower beds. This square is a delightful find and a place to sit, relax and enjoy the view.
Oh, you thought you could park here? Cute. Unless you speak Polish, good luck figuring out that it’s actually forbidden for foreigners – because, of course, the 'No Entry for foreigners' sign is only in Polish. Makes perfect sense, right? But don’t worry, the local police will be more than happy to educate you… with a fine. Super welcoming system they’ve got here.
From Krakowski Station, take the underpass to Planty Park. Head towards Pijarska Street (the Defensive Walls). Turn onto Szpitalna Street, passing the Słowacki Theatre, and cross to Holy Spirit Square (where the Słowacki Theatre and the Church of the Holy Cross are located, among other places). Holy Spirit Square was created after the demolition of the Hospital and Holy Spirit Church complexes – owned by the Order of the Holy Spirit since 1244. Today, it is a beautiful square. Also noteworthy are the clocks showing the time in Krakow and six other cities around the world: Edinburgh, Rochester, Cusco, San Francisco, Tbilisi, and Lviv. The square features small squares with flowerbeds and benches, perfect for relaxing. Behind it are other interesting old buildings.
A place in the very center where you can relax. There are plenty of benches and greenery. An information board describes the history of the square. Interestingly, it once housed a bus station. There are also clocks showing the current time in Krakow's partner cities.
Holy Spirit Square is located between Szpitalna Street and Św. Krzyża Street, next to the Słowacki Theatre. After the revitalization of the parking lot, a very elegant square was created here in September 2020, with comfortable benches, beautiful greenery, and a wonderful view of the theatre. This unique place is still little known, so you can relax here and even read a book. There are seven clocks on the square, showing the current time for Krakow and its partner cities. An interesting idea.
