Peaceful and quiet place, suitable for an afternoon walk and chill or an early morning run. During summer it's well maintained and flowers look amazing. During winter months boulevards seem to be satisfactorily clean of snow most of the time, there are also Street lamps, so walks after dark are possible. Wholeheartedly can recommend.
Park and recreational gardens around it were built on the site of the Austro-Hungarian Fortress nr. 9 "Krowodrza" from 1860, which was part of a complex system of fortifications around Cracow. Park is still surrounded by a circle earthen walls and next to the playground, you can see a small remnants of brick and limestone walls of the fortress. It's a place where you can relax in the haze of history...
Such an awesome park. Great grounds for relaxation. I really enjoyed my time at this park.
I love parks so much, that is the reason I rate it with 5 stars
Not too big but has interesting benches
