Gąska Restaurant

Wonderfull Experience!! I love this restaurant. We come back two times in ours holidays. The pulled pork and cauliflower are excellent, the goose and spinach pieroghi are very good and the apple cake is a dream. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, the service is perfect.

It's a quiet restaurant nicely themed and located in the center but across the river from the Old Town touristy craziness. The atmosphere is quite nice and cozy, the service is exceptional. Very nice and welcoming. However the food could be better. Żurek was perfect but portion size seemed to me quite small, plate seemed decent at first but turned out to be cery shallow. Goose leg was ok, but nothing too exciting, mushroom sauce definitely could be better. My friend ordered swiss cutlet which he couldn't finish because it was overfried and seemed to him oversalted. The salad was ok but duck breast was way too dry even for a salad. It's all just OK and edible, but far from ideal. I am sorry I have to only give 3 stars but it is a restaurant after all, and despite how good the service or the design is, food is of paramount importance.
