Absolutely love it here, an old converted Jewish synagogue in the Jewish area. The walls and floor are beautiful, wonderful clock above the door and a cool balcony to survey everything below. Driving is very friendly, informed and professional, the atmosphere is very relaxed, come in, take your coat off and relax. There are different chairs all over and we have our favourite armchairs to sink into. The drinks frames is marvelous, they will have something that will suit any taste. Food is incredible, I have to say our meals were amongst the best we had in January! The bacon bagel was just the best I have ever tasted. Not drowned in anything but big enough to fill me for the day and so tasty, flavours were so well balanced with the sauce. 100% a definite good to place in Krakow.
I had a great time here! The restaurant is set in a beautiful old Jewish church, which makes for such a unique atmosphere. The staff were really friendly, and the chill music was a perfect touch.
We stopped here after being told about it on a food tour. It was very busy and almost every table was taken but she found a place for us. The drinks were really wonderful and very posh and were works of art. The breathtaking interior was absolutely stunning. It is located in an old synagogue and despite then redoing and redecorating the place you can still see the bones of where things would have been. We would have loved to stay for another drink as they were very good but we were tired and wanted something a little more substantial to sip on. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and we were very well taken care of.
Seriously disappointed, the worse service in entirely Krakow. I will describe my entire experience in detail: 1. On arrival there was no one to receive and there was 3 person in front of us, apparently they were waiting for a while, and when they thought they could sit, they were told off by the guy who was serving and they LEFT. This was our first sign. 2. After a while waiting with no one coming to receive us, we sat down and waited more. 3. We kept waiting and I asked the guys several times for them to take my order and they asked me to wait. (Felt like I was begging to order already) 4. After a lomg time, this guy came and took the order 5. I sat there for a long time waiting for 2 (two) drinks (as I was waiting for so long already, I wouldn't order food until I was sure they were serious now) 6. I waited and saw many tables that came after us being served and we did not. 7. I left and when I said that I've been waiting for a lomg time, the guy who took my order said "I DON'T KNOW YOU" SERIOUSLY????? GUYS YOU JUST HAVE SUCH A TERRIBLE SERVICE! I even took photos os the water (that I collected MYSELF, which was the only thing that I could get) and had to leave.
Really interesting and lovely place to visit, this building was an old synagogue with many original wall paintings and features. The staff were very attentive and quick with the service.
