Megiddo Cafe & Bakery

The place is nothing special. Yes, it has nice tables and restroom but that's all. The first thing you notice is that is it very expensive. Shakshuka -50 PLN 😂 - Red papers, tomato and eggs -50 PLN. Please. The menu also is nothing special, mostly eggs in different forms. (Pictures included) Be aware if you arrive late some of the dishes might be over which means they might be pre- ready cooked. The place is selfservice and they still ask for a tip. Why? What was shocking was Cappuccino for 18 PLN, where other places sell it for 12, 14 or somewhere 16... The cappuccino was in a small cup and the taste was like evewhere else in the city. Why does it cost so much - no one knows. Cardamonka was delicious but in every other piekarnia in the city you will get the same. I wouldn't go there again. They def. need to re-think their menu and prices.

We left Krakow today and I already miss this place! I’ve been there 4 times during one week, just because the food was too good to risk with alternatives 😁 Very very good bread, butter, shakshuka, banush, omelette and buns.

We spent 4 days in Krakow and decided this was the best coffee we had (we are super fussy and have a high standard!!) The barista was so friendly. He helped us order some pastries (also amazing) and then made a perfect flat white. Super modern and cool decor. Definitely worth a visit

Great spot in the middle of he madness. I was able to unwind for 20 mins and prepare for my long walk up the the castle. I enjoyed the latter and the recommended pastry. Enjoy!!
